The book BEING A LEADER inspired me to do an experiment in 2019: the author who researched legendary leaders such as Mandela, ML King, Ghandi and Lincoln came to the conclusion that their impressive leadership style originated from a certain Inner state. Instead of “doing” leadership, they really were that leader. A state of being, of personal leadership, self-awareness and in connection with their motives. Each day was one big expression of their own ideals. I asked myself, “What if I could organise a meeting where we can experience this form of leadership?” A meeting where BEING is more important than Doing. What happens if we stop talking about ‘stakeholder value’, but instead but start focussing on our true impact on the world. Where real conversations are held and you can connect with being a real leader. Imagine what we could be capable of!
